The Urgent Need

Many women in India face extreme poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment. Social and economic barriers often limit them to low-paying home-based work. Equipping them with vocational skills like tailoring can break this cycle, offering them a sustainable income and financial independence.

Our Impact

Jamia Akkalkuwa runs a 3-year Mominah course, offering education, sewing, and computer skills to underprivileged girls. In 2023, we distributed 540 sewing machines to madrasa students and poor women, especially widows. These machines are a gateway to dignity, financial stability, and a brighter future.

Zakat-Eligible Beneficiaries

Muslim women are among the most educationally and economically disadvantaged in India. This project primarily supports zakat-eligible Muslim women and madrasa girls. Women from other communities will also benefit through general donations, ensuring widespread impact.
