Kerala Flood Relief

Help Kerala Flood Victims, Donate Now To Save Lives

"India's worst floods in nearly 100 years"

More than 370 people have died due to torrential rains and landslides in Kerala, affecting more than 15 lakh people. Families are still trapped in their houses in several districts of Kerala and are awaiting rescue. Road transport, train and airline services are disrupted due to flooding.

Lives are in danger as people are stranded, left without shelter, safe drinking water and food. High water levels has destroyed livelihood leaving families in desperate need of help.

Jamia is responding!

After assessing the situation on ground, Jamia is responding to support some of the worst affected areas in Kerala. We aim to reach out to 40000+ households (200000+ beneficiaries) in the affected areas and support them with WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), NFI (Non-food item), shelter kits and educational revival.

Your generous donation to Jamia will help us

1.     Repair water resources and provide safe drinking water as most of the villages are inundated and safe water is unavailable

2.      Distribute food Kits as thousands of families are stranded and have lost hectares of crops, stored food items & other resources. They urgently need food to survive.

3.     Provide temporary shelter, Bedding items, Basic home furniture, Clothes kits and hygiene kits to support flood-affected families

4.     Provide rehabilitation to displaced people who have lost their homes and livelihood

5.     Give long term recovery to flood-affected families and help them stand back.

6.     Support in the form of Emergency Food Security and Vulnerability Livelihoods to help families and communities receive food security in Kerala.

7.     Support Educational institutions which have lost logistics, furniture, equipments & educational materials etc.

Your donation will help survivors recover from one of the most devastating floods Kerala has ever witnessed.
